Penis Envy 6

PE 6 looks like a cross between Penis envy and Texans. The fruits often have large caps, which open fully, unlike classic PE. They also produce spores. While the stems look quite a bit like PE. Thick and textured. Like little logs. Rattlesnake venom was added to agar to help create a hybrid between PE and Texas strains.

The snake venom enabled two dikaryotic strains to share genetic information to form the third sector, the strain was labeled PE6. The idea behind crossing was to get an excellent spore-producing strain of PE. The strain was accidentally released too early before it fully stabilized.  That’s why sometimes they look like Texans and sometimes like Penis Envy
