Origin:

Iceberg – Commercial Selection™ is an elite phenotype developed through one of our largest commercial selection programs in Mexico. This line was chosen from more than 1,500 cultivation bags, where only the strongest, most consistent and highest-performing expression was preserved.

Rather than being selected from a single successful fruit, Iceberg represents the result of extensive observation across large-scale production. Its unusual morphology, dense tissue and ability to produce exceptionally large fruiting bodies — including a recorded 270-gram specimen — make it one of the most impressive selections within the Iceberg lineage.

Cultivation:

Iceberg was developed specifically for high-performance commercial cultivation. It shows vigorous colonization, strong fruit formation and reliable performance across repeated production cycles.

Under stable temperature, humidity and fresh air exchange, this strain produces dense, heavy fruiting bodies with excellent structural quality. Its refined genetics make it suitable for experienced cultivators and commercial projects seeking predictable growth, strong yields and consistent morphology.

Commercial Selection:

Unlike standard genetics selected from only a few successful grows, Iceberg was chosen after evaluating thousands of individual fruiting bodies across more than 1,500 cultivation bags.

The selection process focused on biological strength, production consistency, fruit density, morphology and the ability to produce exceptionally large specimens. For most independent cultivators, reaching this level of phenotype refinement would require years of continuous cultivation and comparison.

This is not a random Iceberg isolation.

It is a commercial-grade genetic line selected through real production-scale data.

Appearance:

Iceberg produces thick, pale fruiting bodies with broad, heavily folded caps and dense structural formations. Its surface may develop layered ridges, waves and irregular sculptural shapes, creating the distinctive frozen or coral-like appearance associated with the lineage.

Strong blue bruising can develop across the tissue, creating dramatic contrast against its pale white and cream coloration. The recorded 270-gram specimen demonstrates the exceptional size potential preserved within this commercial selection.

Historical Significance:

Iceberg represents an important addition to our Commercial Selection™ program. Developed through large-scale cultivation rather than small laboratory selection, it reflects years of observation, testing and phenotype refinement.

Its combination of unusual appearance, reliable commercial performance and exceptional fruit size makes it one of the flagship genetics within our production-focused collection.
